Fall Recovery Starts Now
August is here, and your lawn is entering an important transition period. Recent rain, heat, and humidity have left many lawns holding excess moisture, so check your soil before turning irrigation back on. Too much water can increase disease pressure and stress.
Our focus is now shifting toward fall recovery. Starter fertilizer, aeration, and seeding can help improve density, repair summer damage, and give cool-season lawns a stronger defense against weeds.
You may also notice more crabgrass and other weeds as the pre-emergent barrier breaks down. That’s expected, and we have a plan to address weed pressure later this fall and into next season.
We’re also monitoring tree and shrub pests, including bagworms, scale, and increasing mite activity on conifers.
